These days, you can't use just any old laptop to play video games. You will have to buy a gaming laptop that is powerful that has a good processor and graphics card. These types of computer are usually rather expensive, but in return you will get some great hardware. These are the best 10 gaming laptops.

1. The TimelineX machine is ready to game and has a 14 inch display. This PC features a Radeon HD5650 graphics card and a Core i5 processor which is a combination that with medium detail settings can handle all of the modern games. In addition, it will still manage to get five to six 6 hours of battery life if it is used lightly.

2. The ultimate gaming computer is the Alienware M11 X. It features NVIDIA GT 335 graphics and an Intel core processor, but only has a small 11.6 inch display. When you're not playing a game, the battery can last for as much as 5 hours.

6. You need the X7200 if you want some extreme power. The most basic X7200 model has a full 17.3 inch 1080 HD display, NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics, and a Core i7 processor. If you want it even faster you can upgrade with an Intel Extreme processor and dual GTX 480M graphics.

7. The IdeaPad has a 15.6 inch display can play all of the modern gaming titles, although it is generally considered to be a gaming laptop. It comes with Radeon HD 5370 graphics and an Intel Core i7 processor which is a powerful combination.

8. The EON17 that is made by Origin can compete directly with Alienware when it comes to high end gaming laptops. In most cases, the EON17 is the better computer. This powerful but bulky laptop can be equipped with numerous NVDIA graphics and ATI graphics options and the Intel Core i7 quad core processor.

9. The Toshiba Qosimo 505 machine is relatively inexpensive but it comes crammed with significant hardware. The top of the line models come with a full 1080 HD display, NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics, and a Corei5 processor.

10. The MSI GT680 is available with four DDR3 memory slots that permit for as much as 13 Gigabyte of memory, NVIDIA's latest generation of GeForce graphics card, and the newest quad core CPU made by Intel.
