Good Bio-Diesel Blending Practice & Global Buyer Trust

By Aaron C. Miller

Sound Biodiesel Mixing is Critical to developing worldwide customer confidence. The biodiesel fuels sector should always work to ensure that inadequately blended biofuels are identified before they go to the end user. In colder climates, the thicker layers of the fuel can congeal and plug fuel lines, injectors or filters, stopping an engine.

What is this substance that congeals? It has to do with the feedstock that the bio-diesel was produced from. Feed stocks, particularly those produced with used cooking oils (UCO), waste vegetable oils (WVO), yellow grease or animal fats (Tallow) will produce high levels of fall out elements. These layers of material can also be induced by incomplete removal of glycerin, soaps, waxes, or resins during the Transesterification process.

Government incentives are the backbone of the biofuel industry right this moment. Federal and state tax incentives are based mainly on the volume of biofuel placed in the market. Companies that over report the amount of bio-fuel provided in an advertised blend defeat the purpose of the tax credit and reduce government revenues. Biofuel advocates are concerned that inexact blending and sub par press statements will lessen customer confidence in their fledgling industry.

Corporations such as 70CentsaGallon.com are offering economical solutions through a stand alone biodiesel blending unit that is designed to scientifically blend any combination of biodiesel. It has the capability to provide biodiesel at 350 Gallons per minute and if running non-stop it could produce 180 million gallons annually. It uses an injection blending technology that outperforms any mixing technology out there. This set up is a 30,000 gallon gross set up which can be configured to the personal needs of the customers. Those larger consumers span from governmental & city fleets to large transportation enterprises that rely on diesel bio-fuel to keep cost down and help the environment.

Just like any gas station pump, a customer can pull up, placed in their credit card, and purchase any one of three blends to fuel their diesel vehicle. The fuel is blended thoroughly by two electronically manged pumps and metering valves before getting to the filling hose to the customer's gas tank.

These types of systems are self contained just run power to it and your ready to distribute fuel. No holes to excavate, plumbing to run or put together. It's the hassle free way to introduce alternative fuels at your location, or use them for your fleet.

The combination can also be programmed to suit personal requirements also. The units manage Bio-Diesel and petroleum Diesel on site blending them into B20, B50, and B99 products and solutions. Fleet managers will benefit by routinely using the right blend for each piece of equipment.

With new systems like on-site biofuel blending systems to assure correct blending of the fuels, the bio-diesel markets can grow and ensure world-wide buyer confidence.

Can Android Really Compete with Iphone?

By Julian D Etherington

It came as a surprise to everyone, Apple included, when Google announced its Android operating system to the world, and it did a lot to upset things between the two previously cordial companies too. To begin with is was clearly Google that had to make up lost ground, with Apple well established with its iOS for i-phones and a seemingly loyal customer base already in line. But since then Google has made up for lost time with its software, and now they're on a fairly level playing field in terms of what each system offers.

A lot of the result of the two company's rivalries will be determined now by how that can market themselves. Apple benefits from promoting software that's easy to use, and appeals to the user aesthetically, fitting with a generally clean image that extends to its eco-friendly work. Google has the massive range of users for its search engine domination, but will they translate into OS users as well?

At the end of last year it was clear that Android's OS had made a massive climb in popularity, and overtaken Apple's iOS. On the face of it this may seem surprising, but given that Apple wasn't really doing anything with its own operating system over the last six months of the year, and that Google were promoting Android like crazy, it might not be that much of a shock after all. If anything it's exactly what should be happening at this stage, and doesn't mark Apple's defeat.

The spike in the graph may be just that, and it's certainly true that the two companies are keeping things fairly level right now. An interesting aspect is whether Apple will really go all out to dominate in this field - they're a relatively small company, despite their enviable profits and worldwide acclaim, so it might make more sense for them to accept a good slice of the smartphone market without committing all its resources into remaining at the very top. .

This next year will probably decide once and for all which smartphone OS will gain top position, but it probably won't be a clean race, by any means. There's already plenty of back-and-forth between the two businesses as it is, and as things get more competitive this will only get more interesting for the public. And the end result will be, hopefully, a better standard of service for customers, whichever company they're affiliated with.

Software And Services Geared For Customer Relationship Management

By Hikioez Mentoiz

Two of the leading software developers in the CRM field are Microsoft CRM and Goldmine software. CRM is an acronym for customer relationship management. It is a field in computer technology that helps businesses keeps track of their clients. Also, thru developments in recent years, the CRM system is used as the perfect means to manage, automate and synchronize every kind of business interaction between company and client, be it marketing, technical support, and primarily sales.

The basic functions of the CRM system are three: to acquire, enhance, and retain the customer base. The acquiring of new customers is a much easier job with a CRM system because sales can be done with ease, and at the same time contact management becomes a more efficient part of the whole operation. When it comes to enhancing the customer database, a web-enabled CRM can give clients the advantage of one-stop shopping. This can be achieved with customer service tools managed by a team of service and sales specialists. Probably the most important role of the CRM however, is the retaining of customers. This is because the CRM keeps track of all sales, and therefore can easily identify loyal customers, and reward them.

As I said in the beginning two of the competing software companies that have a firm grasp of the CRM market are Microsoft CRM and Goldmine Software. Goldmine Software has been one of the first companies to implement the CRM system. Since then, the products have evolved to become more and more specialized. In my opinion, this is an advantage and also a disadvantage, of the Goldmine Software. There is no question that the Goldmine Software is competent, this is evident by the fact that it is still one of the leading brands in CRM, the only problem with their newer programs is that they have become too complicated for the average user. Of course the basic program hasn't suffered that many changes, and all the specific developments are available as add-ons, but it is still worth pointing out that maybe the developers of Goldmine Software have forgotten that simplicity is most often the form of success.

On the other hand, the Microsoft CRM has been catching up pretty fast. It hasn't been at the forefront of CRM technology but in recent years, it is getting a bigger and bigger share of the market. Its recent success can be attributed to its user friendly interface. It has a strong point exactly where the Goldmine software falls short. Another of its strong points is represented by the tight integration with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

This is a real plus because the interface is much more familiar in this way to employees who have experience working with Windows. On the other hand, what it gains in speed and versatility the Microsoft CRM looses in depths. It is very cumbersome when it comes to very specific and specialized tasks, and it is a hassle to get what you want from it in these kinds of situations.

In conclusion I can say that both these software companies have managed to get their fair share of the ever growing CRM market. Microsoft CRM is fast , and user friendly, perfect for small and medium businesses, while the Goldmine Software is much more specialized, making it ideal for big companies, but harder to use. There's no question that both these companies will continue to be extremely profitable in the future because of the high demand for CRM systems, but there are a lot of younger software developers putting pressure on them with new programs appearing each day.
